Sofia Bakogianni, PhD

Dr. Sofia Bakogianni joined Technology Opportunities and Ventures (TOV) as a licensing associate in 2024. At TOV, she manages the commercialization of innovative life science technologies and her portfolio spans oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, and more. Dr. Bakogianni collaborates with NYU’s leading biomedical experts to evaluate invention disclosures, forge commercial partnerships, and negotiate research and licensing agreements.

Prior to joining TOV, she gained valuable industry experience as a product manager. Dr. Bakogianni has a PhD in Molecular Oncology from NYU School of Medicine.
