In her role as intellectual property paralegal, Cindy Pederson ensures compliance of NYU’s obligation to report federal funding under the Bayh-Dole Act, facilitates the payment of IP annuities, and obtains IP ownership assignments and other patent-related documentation. Pederson has 20+ years of experience in managing the protection of IP assets both within universities and private practice law firms.
